New Milestones!

Ella's had some new milestones the past week or so that we wanted to share. She's starting to hold her head up on her own with out bobbing. So we wanted to see if she would like the bumbo seat. She didn't know what to do about it at first but then started looking around and laughing! Of course she is starting to laugh and respond to us more. She now starts to cry when she sees mommy leave the room. I'm not sure if I am ready for that yet. She smiles at us every morning when she wakes up, but then two minutes later she is wailing because she just realized she is hungry. At least she is happy for a little bit. Ella is starting to find her hands. She loves to suck and chew on them. Anything that is in her hand is also finding a way into her mouth. Another thing that we do everyday is "tummy time". She used to HATE it, screaming seconds after she was put down and she let you know about for the next ten minutes. The boppy pillow helps because she can see the TV then! She follows the things on TV for a few minutes but will keep looking back if something catches her eye. She loves talking more to us (we're trying to understand her language!), but it is so cute that we have a conversation especially when the diaper needs changing or just after eating. She is also trying to roll over on her own. She was down on her mat playing and the next thing I know she is on her side just talking away to her bunny. I don't think she quite understands that she can keep going if she moves her arm but it won't be long before she does! She needs to quit growing up SO fast. I'm not sure Mommy and Daddy are ready for this already! :) Figuring out this Bumbo thing... Goofy girl giving Daddy a smile! Posing with Daddy...
