Graduation Day

On Saturday evening, Brian and I went to Denison... about a hour north of home. It was Ella's first long car ride, so we were concerned about how she'd do. She did an awesome job! When we met Brian's Dad, Step-Mom, and brother, we all decided to go to dinner. She got a little fussy, but for the most part, we had a nice meal. After that, we got ready to go to Chris's high school graduation. It was an outdoor graduation ceremony, so we were wondering how Ella would do. She behaved herself until he crossed the stage and then... not so much. With air horns blowing, people yelling and clapping... it became a little too much for her. So, we had to leave the bleachers and head home. At least we got to visit with them before the ceremony and see Chris cross the stage. Once we got in the car, we were fine... until we hit McKinney. Then, it was time to be changed and eat. Ninety minutes later, we finally got back home.
