Mother's Day and Big Smiles!

Lots of fun times the last week or so. I got to experience my very first Mother's Day! It couldn't have been better. Brian and Ella took me to dinner. She cooperated... kinda! We rushed through some of dinner more than we would have liked. Brian got to learn how to rock her with his right hand and TRY to eat with his left! New talents every Dad must learn. Once dinner was done, we got her into the car and 10 minutes later... she was out like a light! Grandpa Rod and Grandma Dawn got to come visit Ella later that day. Just the past few weeks, Ella's really found her smile! Hard part is, trying to get it on camera, but this week we did! She's too cute! Two month birthday!!!

Ella turned 2-months old this week! Her 2-month birthday was an exhausting day. After getting up earlier than normal, we took some cute 2-month pictures... I've added some below. Then, we got to go to our doctor for her check-up. She's grown 3 inches since she was born already! 23 inches and counting! She's also about 10 pounds. Unfortunately, this was the appointment were she got her first shots. Not fun! At least Brian got to come to the appointment. We spent the rest of the day fussy, but it's to be expected. But, she had a good night's rest that night! 2-months old already! She's already changed SO much... Mommy making sure she's ready for more pics... Cutie... showing off my cardigan and new shoes!

The past few weeks, we've had a ton of new "firsts" with Ella. Here are some cute shots of those times. Everyday is an adventure as a parent. She's growing more and more everyday. She has even started smiling and cooing at us! It is just sooooo cute! It melts our hearts everytime. She will definitely use it to her advantage on her daddy! (Pics to come soon, if we can ever get them) We're starting to venture out more. Going to exciting places like Target, Starbucks, and Firewheel mall... walking and getting some fresh air. Ella loves being on the move! (Coming soon... pics from her 2-month birthday!) Cooing and loving her mobile... New hat... and ready for my close-up! First time in the big bathtub! Having a swinging good time... :) Daddy and Ella... bonding time!
